Wet Ingredients:

Ink – Alcohol Espresso, Mushroom, Sepia; Archival Black Soot, Ground Espresso

Other – Foundry Wax Mined, Statue, Sterling; Gesso (white); Grit Paste (translucent); Mixatives Copper, Gold, Gunmetal

Re-inker – Distress Oxide Cracked Pistachio, Fossilized Amber, Peeled Paint, Salvaged Patina

Dry Ingredients:

Tag/Structure –Black Heavystock, Kraft Stock (for card backs)

Embossing – Detail Black

Hardware – Large Fasteners, Washers

Tools/Equipment:

Other – Distress Sprayer, Domed Foam; Felt Applicators, Heat Tool, Media Mat, Mini Mister, Sanding Disks, Stamp Platform, Steel Wool, Tiny Paint Brush (size 3/0), Texture Hammer

Stamps/Stencils – Bold Botanicals, The Inspector, Everyday Art (Elements Stencils)

lightly dab maxitive over the grit paste and fasteners and

 a little rubbed along  the edges (this step is repeated on copper as well)

  

  

  

  

  

the foundry wax was rubbed lightly over the fasteners, 

grit texture, and stamped text (avoiding the botanical)

and heat set prior to the next step...I missed taking a photo.

  

  

  

  

a mini mister is crucial here, it delivers smaller droplets and less water at a time, 

water  is the key, water is where the magic of Distress begins and ends.

after spraying, walk away, let it dry, leave it alone you can't rush this or

cheat the air drying time. your patience will be rewarded.

i buffed the shiny black embossing powder to dull the finish.

the gloss looks good too if you want to skip this step.
