Wet Ingredients:
Ink – Distress Scorched Timber; Distress
Oxide Minis Evergreen Bough, Frayed Burlap, Gathered Twigs, Ground Espresso, Hickory
Smoke, Old Paper, Saltwater Taffy, Speckled Egg, 
Other – Texture Paste Opaque; Mixatives
Copper, Gold, Gunmetal, Silver 
Spray Stain –Distress Scorched Timber
Dry Ingredients:
Tag – #5 Heavy Stock Tags
Tools/Equipment:
Other – Heat Tool, Media Mat, Sprayer,
Palette Knives, Paper Towel and Cotton Swabs
Stencils – Grime
when you spray the tags with water, the scorched timber underneath 
the metallic ink starts to come to the surface, this is part of the magic.
the larger raised areas can be wiped with a damp paper towel,
the smaller details I wipe with a damp cotton swab.
add distress oxide ink, spray, dry, wipe and repeat

ReplyDeleteSo beautiful... Am I correct that you're showing four color schemes (one metallic mixative and two oxides on each) or do you apply all four mixatives and eight colors to a single tag in layers?
